Abnormal hair growth is usually the first sign of a hormonal imbalance in both men and women. Excessive hair appears on the face, back, thighs and abdomen.
In women, hirsutism may be caused by polycystic ovaries or ovarian cysts. Hormone balancing herbs may be effective:
Herbs such as wild yam and licorice may regulate hormones.
Spearmint tea will help to decrease hair growth.
Unwanted hair may be removed with either honey/lemon wax or a sugar wax.
